Welcome to the Claim-Testing Lab

Updated 16 Aug 2009

We use the book titled The Practice of Statistics, 3rd Edition, by Daniel S. Yates, David S. Moore, and Daren S. Starnes (the "YMS Book") as our text.

Note: Due to time constraints, I am most likely going to be posting the updated YMS Book course materials throughout the school year as I get them ready for presentation in class for the first time. Please bear with me on this, and check back often if you are seeking materials for a particular topic.

Statistics Chapter 11 discusses significance tests. The lessons are Microsoft Powerpoint slides designed to be used in class with the student notes. They are a mixture of my own slides and information taken from slides supplied with the textbook. I have noted the file size beside them for those who still must use dial-up connections. Any suggestions or comments are always welcome.
